SIYOLFOUNDATION
Camels and women carrying water beside a green pond in rural Rajasthan

Rural Rajasthan · Health · Education · Opportunity

“Health makes life possible, Education makes life capable, and Opportunity makes life self-reliant.”

We build durable, measurable, technology-enabled programmes that help underserved rural communities move from possibility to prosperity.

Why Rajasthan ↓

Why Rajasthan still needs this

Potential should not be lost to circumstance.

Rural families still face preventable disease, interrupted education and structural disadvantages in agriculture. Siyol Foundation exists to address these linked barriers without pity, spectacle or parallel systems.

Health in rural Rajasthan
Health

Preventable disease and late detection can alter the future of an entire family.

Education in rural Rajasthan
Education

Talent should not lose its future to circumstance rather than ability.

Agriculture in rural Rajasthan
Agriculture

Small landholdings, water scarcity, price volatility and limited market access require collective action.

Our conviction

A pathway from struggle to self-reliance.

A Rajasthan where no person’s potential is lost to preventable disease, lack of education, or rural poverty — where every individual has a clear pathway from struggle to self-reliance.

We see our work as a pagdandi — the humble rural pathway that carries a person from struggle toward a brighter future. It is built for everyone who walks it, not for the one who lays it.

“This Foundation exists not to create dependence but to help every individual it touches move, on their own feet, from possibility to prosperity.”

Dignity, not charity. People are partners in their own progress.

The Siyol pathway

Not separate programmes. One human journey.

Wherever possible, programmes connect the pillars so that a family helped in one becomes capable of climbing in the next.

  3. 03

The three pillars

Substantial work, designed as one system.

Health

The Foundation’s foremost mission is to improve rural health outcomes, with particular emphasis on cancer awareness, early detection, preventive healthcare, and women’s wellness.

  • Structured rural cancer-screening camps for oral, breast and cervical cancer
  • Tracked referrals so no positive case is lost after screening
  • Preventive screening for blood pressure, diabetes, anaemia, nutrition, vision and dental health
  • Women-only screening spaces, maternal wellness and Community Health Linkers

  • Merit-cum-need scholarships from Class 6 through Class 12
  • Priority for girls, first-generation learners and economically weaker families
  • Career awareness, competitive examination guidance and digital literacy

  • Farmer Producer Organisations for dairy, feed, vegetables and pulses
  • Kisan Credit Card facilitation and transparent market access through e-NAM
  • Soil health, crop diversification and practical crop advisory
  • Johads, check dams, watershed development and micro-irrigation

Technology & public systems

Work within the systems people already rely on.

The Foundation complements public infrastructure rather than creating parallel structures.

Technology is used where it makes implementation more accountable: structured records, scheme eligibility, direct transfers, referral tracking and practical communication in Hindi.

Built to last

An institution larger than any one person.

The Constitution defines safeguards intended to protect the Foundation’s mission, finances and independence across generations.

Political neutrality

No funds, data, beneficiary relationships or institutional resources may be used for political activity.

Funding integrity

Lawful domestic sources only in the formative years; no foreign contribution without proper FCRA registration.

Annual accountability

Proper accounts, annual independent audit, statutory returns and a public annual report.

Child & beneficiary protection

Written protection, data privacy and grievance policies place safety, consent and dignity first.

Conflict of interest

Interests must be disclosed; related-party transactions must be arm’s length and independently approved.

Institution before individual

The Founder is a steward, not an owner. Assets belong to the institution and its objects.
